Cooking for the multitude

I enjoy cooking, occasionaly not daily. I used to work as a cook some years ago. I don't enjoy cooking the same thing every day, but love it when have freedom to create new dish, or try out a new recipe. Sometimes we invite friends to come over to our house for a meal, and that's the time I cook. For daily meal, Elva cooks most of the time. I enjoy her cooking!
In the photo is Baked chicken with lime, Red curry with coconut milk, and Shrimp spring rolls. E-mail me if you need the recipes!

Thanksgiving 2008 - A slide

Taipei, Taiwan
We work and play hard here, watch this slide show and you'll understand. I got over a thousand photos from different people, selected one by one and put them together with some nice songs. Did it using imovie plus photo presenter. I took me few days and the result is not too bad!

Kniting

Elva loves kniting. She can do that for hours. If I remember it right, she made this one when we were in Townsville, Australia back in spring 2006. We were on a School of Digital Communication, a three month course to learn different kind of computer programs. We spent hours in front of computers, so kniting is doing something else thing for Elva.

Pretty good eh? she made lots of these!

Prayer Meeting

This one is a poster made by Elva for a global prayer day for churches in Taoyuan. The key is from our house key. We are not sure if this poster were printed or used. But I like her design and i helped with getting those images. Good job Elva!

Prayer Card

Brian is a good friend of us, and helping him making prayer card for him to take home (the US) so he could share to his home church, friends, and families was indeed a great pleasure. The prayer card was a hit in the US and sold out (well...it was free though!) Elva did a good job designed it!

English Class Flyer

I am learning to be a good designer. Sometimes it takes many hours for me to design, to match colors. Elva has better eyes in matching colors and I trust her opinion. This one is one of many fliers I have designed.
